The "Riverside Murmurs" sound art project aims to explore and recreate the soundscape of the Thames riverside at different periods of time. This project attempts to capture everything from the natural babbling of the water to the urban bustle, and the industrial roar, sounds that together form an echo of the riverbanks' history. Through a series of carefully orchestrated audio clips, we hope that the audience can experience a journey through time, feeling the changes the river has undergone with the passing of time.

The creative concept is to use sound to awaken people's sensory memories, connecting the past and present through this medium. Each sound is a mark of time; each echo tells a story of the river. The project is not just a collection of sounds; it also seeks to trigger a reflection within the listener about how nature and human activity together shape the environment we live in.

For me, "Riverside Murmurs" is a compelling historical poem, inviting the audience to listen to every drop of water flowing in the Thames, every gust of wind, and every sound of human activity. Through the narrative of these sounds, we hope to foster a deep contemplation on the environment, history, and the role each individual plays within it.
